Default Azure spinner.

hey guys, well on the weekend installed my graphtech tailwheel assy and the Azure carbon fiber spinner, i love it, increible fast shipping and the cut of the spinner to fit my Xoar is really impressive. I just drilled the holes on the backplate with my jib, did some turns with the cone and the back plate to make it a little rough and did like 4 tanks and no problem...never moved.

Did it come pre-cut?

the spinner came precut for Xoar propeller up to 23x8. Just the backplate came with no holes so you can make it for your own application.

Got one of those on my 30% PAU Su-26. I painted mine white though.

Very nice: A little trick I use is to put a thin layer of clear Silicone RTV where the spinner meets the backplate and wipe away any squeeze out with isopropyl alcohol.

I got the 5 inch one and its pre cut for my Mezj 30/12 on my DA 150. Great spinner and sure beats little screws on my other spinners.

Looks nice. I did that same trick of moving the cone back and forth on the back plate. Since I did that it doesn't move anymore.

Thanks f5. I have 3.5" aluminum and was looking at the 4.0" or 4.5" for the EF Yak. The cowl is so big it makes the 3.5" look really small. Anybody out there see anything wrong with going with a 4.5" or even a 5" spinner for a Yak. I was thinking cooling issues but still new to these big 3D birds. I have my back plate out 1" or even 1 1/8" as per the instructions. Thanks
