Jeff,
Pete and I were talking about this the other night. I might have a contact that could check on the Liberty University Vines Center. I think it would be a nice site.

I will try to get in touch with some pilots and vendors, I need to get a general idea of the possibly number of attendees and how many days we would like to try to do this. U-Hall is a HUGE place, right in the middle of Charlottesville. There are more resturaunts and hotels within a 2-3 mile radius than you can imagine. I would like to see this turn into a huge event, but again, I need help from people. Is this something you guys want me to continue to pursue??

is that in virgina? i mighnt be intrestrd, if imm not working then, and if its a couple days not just 1.

It is in Virginia and it seems like we are gonna try to do it. We are looking at dates from late Feb. to early March. I would like it to be a coulpe day event too, but we will have to see how it goes. So far I have not gotten a lot of response back from people.

It is coming together slowly. Another guy and I are going to try to meet with the fellow this week so we can pick a date. I think it is gonna be one of the last two weekends in Feb. or the first one in Mar. We have to work around things they already have planned.

U-Hall is huge, I can't wait to fly in there. Almost too much room in there..........did I say that??

Where is that at? Let me know what looks like a good weekend. I am trying to keep away from the Toledo show too, that is the first weekend in April.

It's in Florida. I plan to attend... From the reports I've read, it looks like folks from all over the east coast will attend.

IMO, January of February would be best for an "event" I know that here in NC, it was short sleeve weather last February..(or was it 2008) Might put a damper on the whole indoor thing...

Why don't you guys get together and try and set up something in the Baltimore Civic Center, if it's still there. Seems a perfect venue.

Not a big event or anything, Hobby Hangar usually runs a monthly indoor fun fly at the Dulles sports complex, they use one of the indoor soccer arenas. Log on to hobbyhangarva.com, register your email address. They will notify you when they get the dates rolling. It used to start at 8pm and end at 2:30am.
