Default Youngflyers trying to get back into the hobby

Ive flown less than a handfull of times in the past 3 years. im really looking foward to getting back into the hobby now that i have some money laying around. Hopefully i can get a plane up and running by sunday maybe next saturday. If anyone has a RTF airplane near MD or willing to ship let me know. I just need something to have fun with!

i think im going to go with a plane from 3d hobby shop. i cant decided whether i want to get a slick or a glow sukhoi.

slick- $250 comes with motor plane and esc for 250 but then i need 1-2 lipos plus charger

sukhoi- $450 and i pretty much have everything that i would need to complete....plus i love the redbull scheme!

well guys i decided to pick up an e-flite sukhoi. Flew the plane this morning for the first time in two years. I was a bit rusty but did ok. Unfortunately i landed in a grass field which ripped the landing gear off ...im just going to buy a new arf with the gift cards and store credit that i have and rebuild this other one as a back-up. The damage looked fine at first but was a little more extensive than previously thought so i dont want to have a lot of downtime!

Hey mate I feel your pain. I had to give up the game for 3 years while I was studying at University. Worst 3 years of my life! Lucky for me I was able to score a part time job in my forth year, which helped me finance a .60 3D plane. Now I'm getting ready to get into the larger birds, and I say BRING THEM ON. I love this drug
