Default Hitec 5955TG and LiFe 6.6v

Hi.
Does anybody know if i can use 5955TG and LiFe 6.6v together without bec/reg?
I see the 7955TG can take it.

I have several 5955TG's that i will use in my new gasser.

Yep - been using 5955s for the last 2 years on unregulated 6.6v A123s with no problems.

I have been doing it for 2 years now with no failures. I love these batteries and have converted to them for all my rcvrs and ignition systems. I use diodes to drop the voltage for the ignitions systems that state 4.8v only. All I can say is so far so good.....

I've been running A123 packs on Hitec and JR servos now for 2 years, unregulated.

No problems on 5625,5645,5945,5955,7955, HS-225, DS821.

You have to look at A123 voltage like a 6.0v nicad or nimh pack. They too charge to over 7v, then drop down. These servos can handle 6.6v with no problems.

What diodes do you use to drop the voltage for the ignitions?
