Default New Style of drilling

New Style of drilling
1) The waste of the wood or carbon will go to base of the drill jig
2) It avoide damging your drill bit and drill base
3) It will give accurecy to 99%
4) Can be tighted by hand no need tools
5) Made for the same all Desert aircraft drill jig or any similar thread

This Drill jig is tested on over than 25 diffrent props and diffrent engine sizes.

That jig would allow the prop to splinter out on the back.
I bolt my props to a scrap piece of wood to drill into to prevent the back from splintering.

the base plate is made from metal which is much better than putting a peice of wood right ?

The problem is that you are not supporting the back of the prop where the drill bit will break through. That causes splintering.
If you had a replacable wood disk between your jig and the prop the drill bit will continue to drill through the wood disk and prevent the splintering from break through.

Also the "waste" will still go up because thats how the bit rotates.

LOL!!! Talk about great ideas without foresight. Dude, have you ever drilled a prop? Listen to what everyone here is saying. You will be splintering the prop as the drill bit cuts thru. Hope you have'nt made more than one. You will be sitting on them for a while until you decide to market them as scented votive candle holders. Goodluck.

You still have to bring the drill bit in and out of the hole while drilling to allow the shavings to exit. I've never drilled a prop and had that happen by itself. I've also never splintered the back of a prop.

Nice try, but really not something of any benefit.
