Default G/S powered trike. Poor's man

Here is a project that my brother has been working for some time.
All is completely designed and built by him.
He's wondering mow much hours can he use this engine. Came from a Poulan 32cc chainsaw and has been working really good.
Enjoy:
Saludos.

The engine will probably last longer than the driver unless the trike has some really good brakes! LOL. I would guess at least 100+ hrs if given decent care, proper cooling and lubrication.

Actually, with proper oil/gas mix along with cooling, he should get a few hundred hours!
I would suggest he look at the clutch unit. Sounded like it was making a helluva racket! Lot of metalic noise coming from somewhere.
Really cool set up though. Those things would make great rental rides at the beach!

Is it still running the chain saw clutch?

Shouldn't be any problem for a guy with that level of ingenuity to slap a better clutch on there.

There are some other vids of it on YouTube, that noise is the chain slapping. The derailleur/tensioner looks a little loose on the slack side.
You can see it at :10
