Thats what I'm talking about!!!! I'm so ready for it!!! I could be bringing along a buddy of mine......... Mr. RC Jet Waco himself, Terry Hahn!!! By this time, he will be READY to go ROAR-WOOSH!!!!! He will also have a CARF MX2 with a 3Dub 170!!!!! I'll have my Dalton 300.

It will be a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read about that waco. Man I would love to see if fly!! I think I saw it in this months Model Aviation.

The Waco is a trip!!!! Alot of people come up to me, and ask me if it is slow as the real one..... I tell them, it is SCALE, EVERYTHING!!!! The flying of it, the flat spins, the snaps........... It is JUST like the real deal!!!

Here is vid of it on the 2nd flight.... And in the flat spin, you can hear Terry chuckle, and a WOW!!!!! He was still feeling it out........ The video is kind of skunk works type thing man........... HEHEHEHHE!!!!!

I mentioned the event to Terry, and he said, Sounds like fun. I dunno, we'll see how things shake out around then.

I may not be able to get Terry to come out with me. Something about his wedding 2 weeks after..... I keep telling him that it would be a good thing for him to come out with me, so that way I can talk him out of it!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

I'll be there. Make sure that Elie is there as well!!!

Man, I grew up just over the hill in Brattleboro. Guess I might just have to make the trek home for a weekend! Did you guys change the date back for the XFC or is it still June 11-13?

Yes It's the same weekend. We'll be losing some great fliers but that's the date given to us by the owners so.....Yes june 11-13. It's going great just getting ready to put a flyer together. We have lots of sponsors so it will be a great event. I too hope Mr. Snap-a-Saurus shows up !!!!!! He is a awsome personality and pilot. Flown with him many times and did one noon time demo with him. I know I'll definatly be a the snap-a -huckfest !!!

Pcastine, We have many guys from that area comming for the event, Plus many as far as Canada!!! Should be good times. This is the first big event the guys and I have put together with no help from a club. We know that it's the pilots that make the event fun so it'll ROCK!!!!

Scott so will we get to see you beating on that poor little 30% extra that you were flying at huckfest? or will it just be the ultimate and the big extra? either way it should be cool, i'll be there with my yak for sure, but i'm still hoping that my mom lets us borrow the "mommy wagon" aka the mini van to take the Cap with us.....I guess i'll have to be a good boy and do what she says from now on......

Good point as far as the date being the same as the XFC but I personally don't think that one will take away or gain from the other given the distance between the two events.
Here in the northeast we don't have very many airshows specifically aimed toward giant scale aerobatics.Snaps "Snap A Huckfest"is the only one that I can think of off hand which is at the end of July early August.So with that said having a event like this at the beginning of the season gives us guys here another opportunity to get together to do some hardcore 3d hucking without having to just go to another event after event and be war birded and cubbed to death and not to mention being bitched at for hovering over the runway or for a plane being too loud.
This is a all out aerobatic event and the safety personnel are the pilots themselves so the only rule here is to have fun and fly your ass off.
Rules just take away the fun.

I sold the 30% so I could buy the ultimate I do miss it, that thing took an a$$ kicking and just wanted more. That's the plane I cut my teeth on doing 3d. I'll have the ultimate ( if it last that long ) The 35% which I'm in the prosess of recovering and maybe one more I'm working on.

Just steal the van!! How is the cap flying?? My buddy has one with a 3dub in it I think he's selling.

Scott/Chris, you might lose 5 pilots, MAX due to the XFC, but the variety of flying and skill will still be there!!! I'm coming!!!! So, that more than makes up for it!! LMAO!!!!!!!

Sounds like things are going well!!! Be sure to post a flyer here!!! Alot of us would like to see one!!!

Chris it's great to hear your planning on coming.We have a flier in the works right now and we'll post it on the thread when it's done.
As far as people that come we'll see come June.Unfortunatly the weather plays a big role too.But as long as we all have a good time in my eyes it's a success.
