LOL !! I was going to weld the flange I made to it then mount it,but the headers took the heat so well I just welded them up. Seems fine. I may add some more weld on the ends were the bolts are tomorro.

whats old school about it? design and technology.. it seems and looks built like a pilot structure..i think they are all built same chinese factory..for a blow out of 550 its like 500 bucks cheaper than anything else..and if it goes in no biggy bc ill be using it to learn stick banging.. thats what i was thinkn of.. thanks for input thow

When I say old school, I meant heavy for its size, smaller flying surfaces. A lot of airplanes look similar... but they really dont fly the same. I understand the wanting to learn on something cheaper... but unfortunately... you end up fighting the airplane rather than learning the maneuvers. The saying is true that you get what you pay for. Not trying to be a debby downer... but unfortunately, I have flown all of the Pilot RC/TOC models... they flew ok... but just not like the newer 3DH, EF, Pilot, etc models out there these days. Not to mention the hardward quality, etc. I only try to convince guys of these things as it will be easier in the long run for them. If they were top of the heap airframes... they wouldnt be in a discontinued line of aircraft that are getting blown out cheap... but I understand the rationale.

Wow, that really shows the difference in the size of the exhaust port between the -120 and the -100.
