Default Info on Hanson G 62

Any info on your experience with the Hanson modified G-62 , whether good or bad, would be appreciated. If you've run it on a pipe please let me know which pipe and the result.

The helicopter people really like the Hanson engines because they are balanced to run very smooth.

Best money you will ever spend,

Wrong way RC here on the Gaints had one set up with a tuned pipe and posted a video here some where, do a search and you might find it.

Al doesn't balance the larger engines? Strange. Then exactly what modifications is he doing to them?

No advanced porting or anything? Too bad. The G62 could really be a monster in the hands of the right tuner.

Wally could probably squeeze every last ounce of power out of that engine:

jrock... you don't realize that you're in the presence of engine greatness.... there's no one on this planet that's done more with a G62 than rcign... If there's power to be gained, he's tried it. If it doesn't result in a better motor that's still reliable... he won't do it. Ask a few questions here and learn something along the way!

The G 62 is a boat anchor just like all Zenoah engines. I'm sorry, but DA company has everyone whipped in terms of engine greatness--and they are great straight from the factory. But what makes the Zenoah so cool is that people can readily modify it to elevate it from it's weed wacker roots. Kind of like the old Volkswagon Beetles.

I'll have to learn more about rcign.
