I would actually be curious about this as well.

I am moving up to Advanced next year and was thinking the power might be nice if I dont move up to a 40%er. Pics would be appreciated!

Don't need the power

With that 3-w qq 106 and a 28 x 10 it's a nice combo.

But Dom came to our field with the re3 on a 170 and it was ballistic and sounded great.

So basically I like the plane and have a little extra cash.

I have ES composites pipes in mine. Takes a bit of hacking but nothing extreme. A couple of formers need to be shaved on the bottom and a new exit opened right below the front of the turtle deck.

I don't have the H9 260 but does it have the tunnel for the pipe or does that need to be built?

it is open for cans, but it shouldn't be too bad to put pipes in...

No tunnel, I left mine open but the composite pipes do not retain heat like the set of re3's I have.

I flew my friends H9 260 with greve pipes a while back. All he did was leave the mounts that are already in there for the cans as one mount and then he put an additional mount further back on the pipe so that both pipes were supported in 2 places. The greves pipes fit very nicely so i would assume the RE-2 would fit similar even though they are a little bigger in diameter.

You will be very happy with the DA 100 Greve/ RE 2 combo in the 260. The plane is very light as you guys already know and the pipe combo makes for some stupid power for this airplane. I could easily do 3 snaps on an upline and keep going.

Typically no... but for me our regionals where in 20 mph winds with non stop gusts of 28 I learned more power would have been really nice. I couldn't over come the wind with the rudder once I was slowed down.

Exactly

We were flying in 20 mph winds and even with the 106 and the plane at 27.5 lbs it would have been nice with a little more power
