Time to stop
This is my official notice, I QUIT...
The RC Ignition website is coming down as soon as my grandson administrator closes it off... I have been doing this far too long...The new breed of plug and play people finally got to me... I will always take care of my former customers, they know how to contact me for any warranty or repair...I WANT NO NEW CUSTOMERS.... There are about 15 engines here for repair and/or conversion, they WILL be taken care of.. The DLE30s included...I can (and will) get any parts required to repair of any of the 30 I sold....

Sorry to hear that Ralph. Enjoy your retirement. I was considering a g62 lite for my next project but I guess I waited too long.

Just do what makes you happy, and ignore the folks that think they know more than you... If you like helping folks get their motors dialed in and purring... keep it up! If someone calls you 14 times a day asking when you'll be done with their Chinese P.O.S... ship it back to them!
Don't let the other guys keep you from doing what you want to do... you've earned the right to do ... or not do... whatever makes you happy. |

Hate to see you quit, but totally understand! I still have the first ignition I bought from you at the QSAA fly in in Vegas years ago.. Still working great and it has been "shock" tested on at least 2 occasions ...

Well darn it! My friend was trying to be a new customer.
Maybe it is inappropriate to ask here, but is there any other alternative person for a G62 conversion? Ralph, I don't know you but I have come to learn your reputation. You will be missed in the hobby. Seems you have a vast following of very happy customers. Rare in this day and time. |

Thanks to all, my wife has been after me for a few years to slow down, we'll see what happens...
Bill at C&H makes a good conversion for G62s and others...We use the same RC EXL ignitions.....His is a DIY so anyone can do it, just not inside the mount like mine...
