Need the high speed and low speed needles for a ZDZ Super 80. TBM does not have them.

My manual is in the garage, but if memory serves me correctly the starting point for both is about 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 turns out for each.

Take your carb to a local small engine repair shop (or chain saw shop or mower shop) and they will certainly have a set of needles for you. The carb is not a "ZDZ carb", it is likely a Tillotsen, Walbro, or Zama.

Hopefully someone will chime in and recommend somewhere besides TBM that you can get one of these engines serviced.

Thanks for all the feedback, a buddy of mine had the same idea, that is to check the local small engine repair shop. I will try that first. The needles are not bent on the thread just the smooth shaft.

I did read a post that recomended cutting the long shaft off the needles on the Tiltson (sp) carb and just cut a new slot for adjusting. I almost did this with mine but decided to go ahead and get a Walbro WJ-71 carb for the motor instead. DA has them in stock. Hope to run it this weekend to see how much of an improvement the Walbro carb provides.
