Glad I'm not the only one. My car doubles in value each time I put the plane on the roof rack. My theory is never let the size of your car limit the size of your plane

These can be regular setups that you think are cool! It doesn't have to be like a 42% on top of your car lol mind you thats pretty awesome.

Works great for one day at the field but probably not so much for traveling to contests! What happens at night/bad weather?
Either way great job. I love the dedication!

here how we transport the 46% Ultimate,
it's fine for short trip in the summer, but not so good in the winter (too much risk of rain)
so we have a 12 feet trailer coming...

You guys rock ! I love how the title of this thread caught our attention.

I really enjoy doing this actually b/c of the curiosity it brings up in people. Everyone that has a chance to stop me in the parking lot as i'm going to get a cup of coffee, will ask what they can do to start up in the hobby. Most probably won't but I always direct them to my LHS or some good websites.

I still live with the parents in a community that does not allow trailers to be visible and there is just no place for one.

Pros:
Cost - roof rack $160
Smooth ride
Space
Can carry just about ANY size plane

Cons:
One plane at a time
Rain
Wing halves and equipment have to go in back seat so only one passenger (but how often do we bring others anyways?)

Lets see some more !
