I am repairing a Aeroworks yak and I need to glue the root rib onto the stab. Should I use poly or titebond or epoxy...or something else? It is kind of important since it holds the stab onto the fuse so I want a real strong bond obviously. Most construction I am familiar with is wood rib to foam stab in which case poly is a no brainer. So what do you guys suggest for this one?

My preference for this repair would be 30 minute epoxy. Usually when I glue hardwoods or woods that are fairly dense, I use a slow setting glue to allow it to permeate the wood fibers deeper, making a stronger join. I know some kit builders use Titebond, but in this case epoxy would be my choice.

A mothers spit!!!! Able to glue the roots back together and get rust off a car bumper!!!! HEHEHE!!!
![]() If it were me, and the root rib was off completely, I would use either 30 min epoxy or a Gorilla glue type.

Epoxy is the strongest IMO. That's what I'd use.
