Well guy's I have to say this is a bad deal. Talk about blatent design stealing. I mean come on this is ove the top wrong. I had made a statement in another thread that I would put the pats from my deceased Wild Hare Extra in this. But after careful thought. NO WAY!! this is a stolen design from QQ & Kimbal. I won't be apart of this game. This is what's wrong with the hobby! You expect this from a China based company, but not an American one!

Funny how the thread just vanished. I'd like to know why it got deleted. Is this thread doomed too? Will we allow Great Planes and Hobbico to get away with Plagerism? Will I get banned for saying these things? Are our opinions doomed on this site? Are our opinions doomed in America? Copyright infringement is a serious offense. If you keep us from informing the brotherhood, then you have helped the Hobbico people make money from unsuspecting customers who purchase the kit in question. Shame on all of you.

I for one would love to see if this it really true or not. Or is it our uninformed public just striking out because they can?

I got a PM from a very credible source, Believe me when I say its true. I would not be making this up for no reason. I don't have any reason to. They do not have permission to market this plane. George Rodriguez claimed in the deleted thread that they got all the ok's, but they did not get squat from QQ or HH. About the only thing they got right, is the color scheme, which does not exist on any full scale Model 12 Python. M12 S is also copyrighted, as the S stands for single seater.

So, im just to believe you, without any facts, that you are right? There was a post on a thread that in short terms said that most modelers need to show a little patence and restaint and not go for the throat on every little thing that comes up. I would believe that they are working on a solution and dont need ppl running them threw the mud on every little thing.

Whipper, this is not a witch hunt on my part. It’s just patent infringement plain and simple. If you where around on the threads back when QQ, Kimball with another fellow when they developed the python you would remember the thread where they stated what they did to patent and protect their product. I'm sure they are now getting ready to fight this as to the violation that at least appears to be happening.

The reason these keep getting shut down or tossed away is because this is between the parties involved and not a bunch of arm chair quarterbacks.

There are many sides to each story, and we are not here to let speculation and rumors spread.
If this becomes an issue I'm sure I will get factual press releases from the proper people.
No one is making the situation better by speculating.
