Default A123'S AND FUT PCM RX'S

I am thinking of replacing the Nimh batteries in one of my 35% planes with A123's.

I am assuming that the A123 6.6 VDC is not a problem with my 72 Mhz Futaba PCM RX's (147's and 148's on most of my planes), since the fresh charge voltage of the Nimh is about 7VDC.

Anyone have any experience with this combo.

Please, no comments about switching to 2.4. The FCC will have to pry my 9WC2's out of my cold dead hands, especially now that everyone has changed to 2.4. The probability of getting "hit" at my field is now around .00007% which seems lower than the number of unexplained airplane fatalities that seem to appear on a daily basis on FG.

Before switching to Fasst I was using 5014 and 5114 receivers in planes with unregulated A123 power running through them. Never had a problem and it was a very simple reliable set up.

I've been running them for about a year now. No problems at all.

Same here, 12 of the 148 and 149 receivers and A123 batteries, no problems on any of them.
