Hi all,

i see the ceramic clunk from Madison, look interesting, but just want to know if somebody is using this ceramic clunk inside the tank ? no problem or fuel restriction in the flow ?

thanks for feedback

Would you be using this instead of a usual Walbro clunk? I have seen other brands of ceramic clunks get stopped up with old oil since the pore size is so small.

Same here. No problems. Andy you should get back to the desert. It's warmer over there than Minnisota.

I've been using one for a couple of months and so far it works well. I always leave about a third of a tank of gas in my planes to keep the Tygon from getting stiff and I think that will also keep from having oil congeal on the filter. I know a lot of guys swear by yhe Walbro filters but I have had them shed tiny little fibres into my carb before. I found them in my filter in the carb, but some had gotten by and got into the idle metering system and were a real b!tch to get out.
