I STOLE MATTYMATT'S DALTON!!!
Ok, after a couple of months of debate and long talks with the wife, I FINALLY DID IT! Last night, I picked up a slightly used 42% Dalton Aviation Extra 260 that belonged to MattyMatt as his back up IMAC plane.
THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!   He has been letting me fly it some here and there, and the more and more I flew it, I just had to have it. You all know about his work here through FlyingGiants.com and he incorporated some of the modifications we are all used to seeing on this plane. I especially like the lightened wings. Man, she is so responsive and will stop on a dime. I couldn't resist throwing it together and getting some pics of it. I just ordered the headers today. They should be here by this weekend, and I'll be able to get her in the air! Here is the intended setup: DA-170 MTW RE3 Tuned pipes with 14" headers Mezjlik 28.5x12 3 blade 8611a's all the way around 2 Fromeco 2300mah A123's 6.0V 2700mah NiMh for ignition R1221 Rx JR 9303 2.4 for guidance Plane weighs 37-38lbs!!!

Thanks Guys! The night before I got this was worse than Christmas when I was 7! I couldn't hardly sleep.
As far as the rudder goes...I'm gonna look at it and get it fixed pretty quickly. It doesn't look like a big deal at all...

Nice Dalton....It's going to have crazy power with the 170 on RE-3's...my 300 is a missile with that combo!
