The Obama bow before the emperor wasn't and impromtu gesture as many have speculated.
It was a calculated, planned expression of DISRESPECT. A handshake or nod would have been equally appropriate but he knew that a bow would raise the ire of many americans... Wake up America...your president just flipped YOU the "bird" |

You may want to stick to speaking on a topic you know something about. We have had several of our presidents use culturally appropriate gestures in the past, including the former president Bush who held hands with a prince of Saudi Arabia. Yeah, it was a bit gay for my test, but I understand the need for diplomacy.
You might want to do a bit of research prior to spouting off, as your intelligence level jumps to the forefront when you simply utter thoughts from the cuff. |

Suffer through most of this 10 minutes of self admission -as to why I think he "bowed".
![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=tCAffMSWSzY#t=28 I believe he meant not to "flip a bird", no sacrificial diplomatic demonstration, no intentional "raise the ire of many Americans", just simply demonstrating respect for his Muslim superior. Simple as that. ![]() (I believe) He is as Christian as a Mormon is monogamous. Bottom line (IMO) is, he continually lies in the U.S. about his religious "choice". Sadly, those in the media who were trying to vett this truth out of him during all the election BS were discounted and discarded. Two more years he will be openly confessing his Muslim heart to those who were hoodwinked. ***. As with J. Carter, we just have to endure this single term future.

Yes, There is no question that he is a muslim. Canceling national prayer day for all faiths(except muslim), hasn't been to church since he was elected. His unwillinglingness to throw a punch to our muslim extremists enemies,(not all muslims are our enemies). The list goes on.

![]() Oops, I'm not that up on the most current of events - and apparently Obama has been to Japan recenly. ![]() Bowing is in their culture for certain as a sign of respect, but looking at the depth of bow he presented Emperor Akihito, I would agree a deeper message could have been intended? Perhaps officially demonstrating his position of "Equal to" not "Superior to" message to Japan- that is. The message in my reply will stand alone as relevant to the Muslim Hoodwinking Obama and the m.s.media allowed to perpetuate. I believe his bow to the Saudi King was of a totally different intent that to the Emperor Akihito. Either bow not being a gesture I believe many red blooded Americans could get warm fuzzes from. Now, I would have perceived this gracious gesture as a filp of "the bird" back home if this event had happened on Dec 7. |
