Hi Gang
just purchased a new plane that has a WT-645 carb. On my other quadras I could prime the engine by holding my thumb over the carb inlet. For some reason this engine won't prime that way. I took it apart thinking there may be a small hole in the diaphram but it all seemed okay. Will this engine not prime this way or do you think I may have a faulty diaphram. It's on a G-26. Yes the pulse hole lines up and there are no leaks in lines or tank. I'm just not getting any priming. I need to turn the engine over with a starter for quite a bit before it creates enough suction to bring the fuel in. dnimigon@xplornet.com |
