Default 46% Ultimate Radio installation

Hello everyone,

I`m just begining the construction of a Hangar 9 46% Ultimate 10-300, And am torn as how to set up the radio gear. I currently have a JR12dsm transmitter and all the gear for the onboard set up but am unsure how to put it all together. For instance, should I use 2 recievers or one, how many servos can I put through a single channel with the help of match boxes before current becomes an issue on the reciever. ( 8 aileron servos, can they all go to one port on the reciever ) Basic questions like that. I have 4 6000mampre lipo batts. A smoke system, ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Default Re: 46% Ultimate Radio installation

Hey Keven I have one of these and this is how I set mine up. I run one reciver 6014 with a wolvorine switch two in and two out running 2 2300 a123s These batterys only run the elivators and the rudder and throttle. The elivators are on seperate chanels and the two rudder servos are on seperate chanels mixxed to match. The wings have 8 servos in them on match boxxes one for each wing. each match box runs on seperate chanels in the reciver. I have two 2300 a123 that run the wings only which is powered by a wolverine two in and two out. I can do 9 hard 3d flights but only go to 5 or 6 then recharge in about 15 mins. Hope this helps
