Mr Barrows took off with out the ailerons plugged in. While he was trying to wrangle the plane into control the plane ran into some trees like he pulled a wall right into the trees. The plane stuck in the tree with the tail swinging. There was a lot of ele damage; 4 holes on the wings with both wing tips crushed one worse than the other rudder missing and damaged beyond repair.

How do you like the 80? I have one in a H-9 Sukhoi but still have to maiden it. More than likely next spring. But I am wondering what to put in the beast and would like to have the engine and everything for it when it gets here. I am an Evolution die hard but am not sure about the power yet of the 80. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I had two h-9 sukhoi's and i really liked the power of the 3W 80xi that i had on them. I switched out the tiliston carb for a walboro off of a da 85 which made it alot easier to tune. It had alot of pull out and made the cg come out very nicely. I tacked it at 6680 with a 26x10 evolution prop on 32-1 lawnboy ashless standard pitts muffler. It could have used a 27x10 but the plane really doesnt have the clearence for it.
