You and me both! Holy crap... new goal for life. Screw a Ferrari, I want one of those to play with.

Though I have to admit, a nice extra or edge would be cheaper, cost a LOT less to maintain and operate and would be serious fun to fly.

A friend of my father's has a single seater. Looks like a fun little bird... with a bit too much emphasis on the little part!

You could buy a few L-39's for a factory new Edge or Extra. They're not cheap in the least.

When I get back into flying fullscale again, I want to fly aerobatics again.

well guys i found the price... a cool $15 million for the plane (includes training) doesn't include gas or maintenence... so how close is our little slush fund to the mark?

They used to have the price listed on the website as $4.5 mil.. and there were 2 of them. Seems odd they'd jack the price up that much over the initial listing.

well i was just quoting a worst case senario... this ad:
http://www.military-heat.com/19/russ...eneral-public/

says $2 mil - $15 mil thats quite a range to have on something like this... i figured if we got to $15 mil and it was $4.5, we could split the rest

The govt. has put a stop to the sale of these aircraft. One of them is in the hands of the USAF now, the other to follow shortly.
