Default Balancing Giant Scale Planes

Can anybody recommend a balancer for large scale, lets say 33% and up aircraft? As much as I trust my friends I am always a little concerned if my partner is using his fingertip, his fingerpad, two fingers, etc. and is in the exact same spot as me when I check CG on large planes. It takes strong fingers to deal with planes getting close to 30 pounds and heavier.

Not that it is a huge issue but I would like to use something that eliminates the need to put friendship on the line when checking CG.

thanks in advance,
dan

There was a thread on here a long while back about how to balance it yourself without any balancer. Wayne posted it. Let me see if I can find it...
