Default Sleepy (Smokey and the Bandit VS Biff (Dukes of Hazard)

Ok fellas, well make this a fair challenge.
Please select the movie / show that kicked more ass.

Biff basically said he thinks Smokey and the Bandit is LAME,
and then tried to cover his tracks with a quick Dukes of Hazard Reference.

Smokey and the Bandit were the original, and the Dukes of hazard simply can't compete. Granted Hazard was a good show, but COME ON!!, 18 wheelers, car crashes, chicks, exploding cop cars.. and CLETIS.

Do it for CLETIS!!

Biff watch the numbers... SON.

Its like American Idol.. we'll let the Giants Decide.

Sleepy, I'm sorry but I have to go with biff on this one. Just look at this picture that I stole from Biffs house last time I was there, he was 12, he was born and raised on the good old General Lee. Now I may have sided with you if they did not make smoke and the bandit two, but that was a little much for me.

Sleepy sleepy sleepy. Looks like your playing the wrong hand here bro. EVERY SINGLE event I do starts with prayer, pledge and the National Anthem. Perhaps you were still asleep during all these pilots meetings?

Case in point the DOGS show. Teressa called me two years ago (Museum events director) to inform me someone had complained about my stance on prayer, pledge and Anthem. "The person wrote a letter saying it was wrong to use a National Museum to be pro God and Country." I asked Teressa if it was a problem to continue doing so. She told me it was up to us as I always offer the microphone for equal time or rebuttle for opposing opinions. To this day I proudly continue.

Sleepy you can bash me all you like, but to imply I hate ANY country is unacceptable. Your contempt for all other cultures offends me. Your loathing of all things Southern I chalk up to ignorance.Your intolerance of anyone with an accent differing from yours is something you should seek counciling to work through.

I couldn't help but notice your tats. I was drawn to the pretty stars,,,untill I got a closer look. The goat skull with horns attatched to those stars told the whole storie. Those aren't stars they're PENTOGRAMS!! I say REPENT!!!

It seems there are greater issues we should be discussing. But if it boils down to a silly game about who choses what movie, there's only one clear choice. Was there a Smokey and the Bandit series? No. Should there have been a Smokey and the Bandit 2? No.Did Smokey and the Bandit have dynamite tipped arrows? No. Daisy Duke in the series, introduced a whole generation to what puberty is all about. Jessica reintroduced the same generation to puberty all over again.

Did the ubiquitous Trans Am jump anything marked BRIDGE OUT? Ahhh,no. You always knew when Beau and Luke saw an opportunity to jump anything it was peddle to the metal . Did Boss Hogg ever win? NO!! Thanks to the General and good old fashion balz out attutude, the Hazzard County boys always came through!

When was the last time you asked your wife to put on a pair of Smokey and the Bandits? Ahhh, NEVER! A pair of Daisy Dukes is universally known as denim FORE PLAY!! For a series/movie to have THAT MUCH impact on a nation for that many years there has GOT to be substance!

It boils down to this; a vote for the BLACK TransAM (think about the color of the car and Sleepy's "special stars") is a vote for the dark side. And I mean that literally!

A vote for the Charger is a vote for goodness.

Dukes=Apple Pie, respecting your elders, baseball, prayer (the Dukes ALWAYS prayed before meals) and goodness.

Thanks for your support. Even if you vote for the PENTOGRAM tattoo'd upstart, PLEASE ENCOURAGE HIM TO STOP BLOOD SACRIFICING INNOCENT ANIMALS!!!

I don't think that Sleepy has EVER been to an event that Biff has MC'ed................... Biff is a true, red blooded AMERICAN!!!!

Sorry dude, I gotta roll with Biffon this one...... Even though Jackie Gleason and Burt Reynolds are legends, but didn't Brut Reynolds play a role in the movie, Dukes of Hazzard???? So, arent you stepping on your own toes there????

Sleepy, STOP while you are ahead!!!!! Just wait till Biff get the whoopin stick out.......... I'm not gonna hold him back!!!!!

Chris~

I was unaware of sleepy's pentagrams, a baptist such as my self can only pray for you sleepy to see the light, jk, and a good point that reynolds was in the new 'Dukes' , totally forgot about that, looks like I have to humbly admit I was wrong and go back and switch my vote

Pentagrams?!?! Stars???
You must have forgot your glasses SIR!!
I have My daughter and son's names tattooed on my arms.
I believe that is family oriented and AMERICAN as Baseball and apple pie!
The rest are some flames, one HG Geiger piece (I like the movie aliens) and 4 tiki heads,
some bio-mechanics and a few tribal designs thrown in... Nothing that would be considered evil. (Just want people to have the facts)

I was born and raised Christian, heck MY mother was a NUN for 10 years, and then quit because the nuns stopped wearing habits, and weren't strict enough!
So you can bet Church was a familliar place for me growing up.

And YES I have been to quite a few events that the old Biff mistier has MC'ed and yes i agree that he does represent the flag and prayer each morning, and has respect for this country and RC in general... Facts are Facts, I can't argue there.

BUT... I still have a problem with him disrespecting the Bandit.

It took Duke's of hazard 3 years I believe to leave an indelible mark on the country,
where Smokey and the Bandit took but one great movie to leave its impression.
So No the Bandit was never made into a series... I believe the reason being... it wasn't needed... 2 hours was enough to grab people's attention for ever.

But Biff's failure to realize the genius of Smokey and the Bandit has taken my level of respect and admiration for the man down a few notches.

Also, this is a new version of BIFF, 3 months ago Biff was a sworn HillBilly, now he's claiming culture and refinement are the qualities that drive him. I think the wine and all that blowin on the YAZZ flute went to his head a bit.

But BIFF Sir, we can resolve this with a quick agreement.

I say we AGREE to disagree about the Bandit and Hazard,

If we can agree that "The Great Waldo Pepper" kicks both of the other movies asses!
