JTec Extra 330L Build in 2 weeks!
I brought home and Extra 330L ARF from Joe Nall. I started working on it Sunday night (Got home Sunday Morning). Worked on it Monday night, Tuesday night, Thursday night and part of Friday night, had to take the wife out for dinner and a movie before she divorced me.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday I went flying and didn't have time to work on the plane. Got back on it Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday and tonight. All told I probably have 30 hours into it. I'm planning on a maiden flight on Sunday if the weather holds out. Everything went together as designed. I checked the incidence and every thing was right on. All that's left is the wheel pants and the canopy. Here's some pics: |

your a mad man Jim. I think we need to team you up with JeeUm and see how fast you guys could build one as a team, my bet would be about 2 or 3 hours.

I'm hoping to Maiden at Windingbrook. Even though we're getting rain today the river is still at a good level. I got the Edge fixed too and I have a Warbird to Maiden as well. Should be fun! |

Hey Craig,
Looks like it's gonna be real muddy tomorrow at the hill even if the rain stops. Probably have to go to a local field to fly one of my other birds. I got my Edge fixed so that will probably be the one. Do you go fly during the week at all, maybe we can meet up later in the week after the mud subsides! LOL |

Elie, what time will you be there? I think jim is right about the hill being a mud pit. I will come up to woodstock and meet you there. I can also lend a hand for a little bit with the runway etc. mabey about an hour or so.
