Default 2.6m Comp Arf Fantasy Yak Build

Out of the blue after coming home from the mall I was greeted with a box in the garage. My dad just recently bought a 2.6 to replace the edge, I nearly **** myself when I walked in. This plane will be porbably finished after the comp arf.

Did yours come with the ply supports in the fuse for the elevator anti-rotation pins?

Ah, I'm not sure, I'll check it out later. Right now were having the bme mount rewelded because keith decided to discountinue the 102 evo? Second thing that needed to be welded on this plane.
Sheesh

Started on the H-stabs tonight. It looks like you will have to cut the phenolic control arms to fit in the factory slots. I am going to see how much more material I can remove from the factory mad slot before I do so.

Yeah I finished gluing in all of the control horns and made the two servo bays for the aileron servos. My luck today the LHS was closed for new summer hours. Oh well I need to study up some more for my GC test.

Building a comp Arf reminds me a lot of building a plastic model...lol. That or an RC car.

Yah, you don't really build, you just fabricate mounts for stuff, and cut slots and glue stuff, and screw stuff in, but its still a build.

This wasn't much of a build thread as I really didnt update pics that often, so here she is, 98% done, just have to bolt the prop and setup my rates.
