You guys going to do event shirts? I have a nice screen print machine and I can do Direct to garment for crazy graphics and stuff..

Its going to be a busy flying season. Something almost every weekend..

St Louis wasn't removed. The Huckfest was moved to try and serve more the Flying Giants community. The original intent was to have a moving series that offered as many people a change to attend a Huckfest. Maybe not every year, but hopefully every other. This calls for locations to change periodically. STL had 3 great Huckfests. Now is the time to move to another venue. OK is not that far from STL. Myself and many other STL FG members are going to go down for it. Grab a plane, put some gas in your vehicle and we'll see ya at Huckfest!!!!!

Can't wait! Coming from Knoxville, Tennessee to huck it!

What is the schedule?

I've got another guy or two from knoxville that are interested in flying their full scale beechcrafts out to OK to attend the fest while I drive 11 hours...... What's the deal on full scale pilots that want to attend?

With a little coordination and a few flyover circles....not to mention a radio call....full scale pilots and RC can work well together. With good planning....

What do you say? See you in June!

Maybe the Ohio Huckfest also.....

It wont be to bad for the full scale guys. I heard rumor they will call in and then be put in a hold pattern. When we clear they can come on in..The powers getting this gig up and running have brass balls for trying to do this at a full scale runway. They have my full support.. This should be a HUGE event..

ha! sounds simple.. I have never flown at an event like this ( NOOB ) just a private field a few miles from my house.. what I was wondering is,, do you have to have your AMA for this or IMAA ?? if yes.. I guess I should get em asap

I've been at several other fly-ins at full-scale airports.....They all worked out well.....sometimes flying off the taxiways, sometimes the main runway.....incoming full-scale generally gets plenty of attention and courtesy. Works well at smaller strips with a low number of operations.....this strip in OK doesn't show as very busy on the online airport databases.......

Flying off a real airport is one of my favorite sites to fly.....except maybe SHORT bermuda grass.....SEFF or J-Nall.....

Just look out for any landing lights sticking up beside the runway......for you LOW huckers...or for my BAD landings......
