Default Are you Nuts?

Model Airplane News... A review of an AM Giles 35% I think it is. Scott Stoops( I enjoy his articles and builds) throws a BME 110 Extreme on it. Looking at the pics, it appears not to have through bolts like DA's and everybody else in 100cc range. Is it just that one lock nut that holds on the prop???

Looks like six hole for bolts from the front but from the side it looks like only two go all the way through...hard to tell, I am sure it cant be one nut?!?

Looks nice, hard to believe it only weighs 4 pounds! I think it could be a problem balancing a 35% plane without adding some nose weight.

Nope the 110 has just one bolt prop... the holes you see in the prop washer are just lighten holes. but keith has a 6 bolt hub now on the newer twins.

My FPE 5.8 "95cc" cingle cyl is the same way. Just a single prop bolt. It's never given me a problem with around gallons through it.

Where do you get a spinner adapter for that size threaded prop shaft?

The shaft is drilled and tapped so you dont need any adaptor, just a bolt through the center of theh spinner. Or in the case of carbon spinners they screw to the back plate with six small screws. No need for a heavy old adaptor in both cases.
