Default 14 MZ and this JR RX?

I don't even want to go there with the JR VS Futaba.... but this looks like a good buy for what it is...

The newest patch does allow the 14 MZ to do pos or neg shift right guys?

The 14mz will only work with FM JR rx's. JR PCM is souly compatible with JR radios. Look for a lower channel G3 rx soon hopefully.

How does it not tune to someone elses frequency using ScanSelect technology to automatically tune itself to your transmitter's frequency?

I see there still selling NEW sets with tiny manual dial frequency selection with numbers smaller than the average 60 yr old can read, where 6 looks like an 8 http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=JRPTXMS

It just knows to sync with "your" TX....
I see what you mean... somebody who KNOWS answer this...
I am on channel 39, I am flying, somebody on lets say 22, why would by G3 RX not pick up the signal on the guy who also has a 14MZ , but on channel 22?

The signal to change frequency has a max range of about 2 feet.
Try it with your RX. See how far away you can get and still change the frequency. For me it has been around 2 feet.

So unless you are flying very tight circles around the other guys head you will not have a problem with him changing your frequency. You may have a problem with his temper though.

You also have to know the ID # on the bottom of the rx, correct?

I don't know how that ID number is used.
I have not experimented to see if the channel will change if the wrong ID is entered in the TX.
I do know that if I get dyslexic entering it the RX will not respond to the TX even though they are on the same frequency.
