Well my favorite Warbird of all time is the Hawker Typhoon!!! I have a Vaillencourt 96" kit cut from kit cutters,I havent started yet. And I'm waiting for the new one from KMP to come out in the fall. If it's anything as nice as their Spitfire, shoud be Awesome!!!!
My dad has the H9 P47 150 size and the KMP B25 on the building table. He was a mechanic on the real ones in the Korean War. Cya, Frank

Hey guys,
My favorite Warbird has to be the Hawker Typhoon!! I have the plans from Roy Vallencourt and the kit was supplied from kit cutters. At 96"s its gonna be schweet!! I'm also waiting for the1.20 size from KMP to come out in the fall. If it's anything like their Spitfire,it should be awesome.. My dad has the H9 1.50 P47 and the KMP B25 on the workbench. He was a mechanic on the full size B25 in the Korean War. Later, Frank

Gremlin, that P-40 may seem pricey but it's really not. Not when you consider what you have into a plans built or kit built version of the same size. I'm seriously thinking about getting that bird.
My Bearcat has practically the same wingspand and is only slightly larger, and I've easily got over $3,000 into it already and it doesn't even have paint on it yet. |

No not sure, was not on sticks when it went in, so do not know what happened.
I had three flights on it the weekend before. Fun to fly, seemed pretty solid, got it for a good price but still sucks that it went in, looking into getting another AT 6, either ready to go or Yellow Aircraft, or help from here, suggestions.??????? Already have G62, air tank, etc.... for retracts, radio gear. Is that your plane you posted?

Hey Roger,
I think the Yellow Aircraft one can be had in an ARF version,or the kit.. My dad also has one of the kits hangin around half finished. He gets board then works on something else all the time... Later, Frank

Yeah, it's definitley a nice airplane. But I'd find out what they're expecting as far as adding nose weight for it too balance. The DA might be too light.

You think the DA would fit in the cowl completely?

Just had to put a pic in from WW1. I have to admit, it's not the only warbird in the hanger either. There, I said it....lol
Dynaflite SE5a, 120 Saito. 13 lbs. Severely overpowered, but no balance weight either. |
