I think I will get one of these...

I almost bought a KMP version of this, but larger at Joe Nall, but its just a little bigger than I need. I think this one will fit the bill... ah, warbirds...

Here's my 103" Dehavilland Chipmunk military trainer with Super Tigre 3000, stnd size higher torque servos. Also have a P-51 with Robart retracts powered by a Super Tigre .91. Building a Mosquito to have twin .40s and retracts, and still in the box a P-47 that will receive a Saito 180 and retracts. I love the warbirds because they demand flying skills closer to real planes than most models, especially the modern, light 3Ds.

Here is my Nitro Planes P-38 under way with major modifications including plug-in wings, retracts with gear doors, cockpit detail, rounded bottoms, and a new paint job when done.

Man o man. I want a F4U built around one of those big honkin' a$$ 400 + cc radial four strokes !! Love the sound and worm burners comin' down from high alt. would be awesome !
Okay, so the lotto has yet to hit MY house. I'd settle for a Top Flight 20% with a 300 radial. Maybe one day. Then there is the F-16 Hmmm.

He tries, but he has taken up full scale now. I try to take a plane with me when I go to visit, and find a local field. Just thought maybe you were close enough for a visit. I used to travel a lot and had a GP PW Extra 300 that flew in about 29 states. My Avatar is of that plane sitting on a field in North Dakota. Met lots of nice folks in the hobby, and always enjoy seeing all those war birds fly.

Man, that sounds like a lot of fun. I'd love to bring my P-38 and Carden Cap for some fun, and see all you good fliers do your stuff. I'll see what I can do.
