I have been looking at Superior RC's website for month's now. I love the Pocket Hinge System. I have built four planes already this winter and I hate the hinging process, even with Robart Hinges it's a pain. So I ordered the 100cc Extra 330L in the Curves color scheme. It arrived the following week with no damage, in fact it didn't even have any wrinkles in the covering. This is the first ARF that I have had that didn't need any ironing. The plane is very well built and the quality is first class. It comes with tons of Carbon Fiber, including a Spinner, Wingtube, Tail tube, Landing Gear, and Tail wheel assembly. The paint work on the fiberglass parts is excellent, a perfect match and with no runs. The hardware pack is complete and the hardware quality looks fine, plus it came with extra Oracover for each color. A couple surprises were that it is set up for Cannister Mufflers and the wing is bigger than advertised the actual span is 104" and the wing area is 1924 square inch's. I can't wait to get it in the air. Here's a link to Superior RC's website. http://www.superiorrc.com/index.html

Here's the inside of the Hortzontal stabs, They have some notch's cut in them for the servo wires to pass through (very nice). The Hitec HS-5955TG's fit perfectly, no triming required which I have had to do on other ARF's and it's a pain to get in there to enlarge the servo opening.

Now insert the 2MM carbon fiber hinge pin and it's ready for the control horn and pushrod.

Here's the control horns installed on the elevator. Requires drilling a 5/32 hole for the horn.

I notched the trailer edge of the horzontal stab at the control horn to get more throw's.

Moving on to the wings. There are three servo mounts in the wing, I chose to us the two outer mounts.

Here's the control horns and pushrods installed. This is the easiest ARF that I have put together in over 30 years of flying R/C.

Looking good. I like the pocket hinges and the hardware looks pretty nice as well.

This plane looks very nice! Their location is about 3 hrs to the North of me. Could save $$ on shipping if I were to go for one.... I did see them at the RAM show, I hope they did well. Looking forward to the rest of your build and flight report.
