It's too cold to go to the club with giant scale stuff... so we went to the beach!!!

Ottawa rarely has such warm weather and lack of snow in December - GLOBAL WARMING ROCKS!!!

T'was good fun!! I didn't think going to the beach in December could be so much fun.

Sorry, to see you plane taking a bath but, now that it's almost dried out, it'll be ready for tomorrow!

I'm glad you didn't follow through on your threat to put on your pink tutu and imitate Wesse

Cheers,
Dave

DW does make fantastic foamies. If that's all you've flown - you must know best! I'm certain no plane could be better (or even as good as) the one YOU have flown.

Perhaps you should stick to posting to the DW threads; you're post could be taken as impolite in this one.

Have anyone flown the Storm? I'm curious about the shape of this one. Their website only shows the front end and a little bit of the wing. Seems like a cool looking plane.

Haven't tried the storm yet - I like the Edge better than the Yak for looks, but the Yak flies better...

Scott,

I think your new "Cable Guy" job has you a little to close to those microwave towers.

Where the H*ll is there a "Beach" in Ottawa?

I think you bring a little TOO much "INSANE" into flying an Insame Foamy!

Why don't you try that stuff in the photos with your 40% Carden Edge 540? Hmmm.... Hmmmmm... Why doncha EH?................

Hey do they have any Yaks?

They sure do have Yaks... Dave was flying his that day at the beach - it's the one with the blue squares on the wings.

There are several beaches in Ottawa! We were flying at the one closes to my place - it's actually in Aylmer, Quebec. Directly across the Ottawa River from Ottawa.

It's interesting; there are bylaws in Ottawa against 'running' powered rc toys (un-powered gliders are ok). In Quebec there are no such rules - it would be legal for me to fly my 40% at the park!!! As of yet, I have not consumed enough alcohol to try it........ at least not with MY plane!

See you at SAWS, Dude!!!
