Thanks Keith!
Yuri's stab broke during practice on Thursday I think. He hasn't had any mechanical failures yet I don't think. The competition is really tight this year and I promise tomorrow will have the best and craziest flying yet. Everyone knows they have to pull out all the stops. -Kelly Gerber |

What's the difference between a known and an unknown in the XFC? As I understood it's all freestyle right?

It will fly!!!

Guys it was off the hook today. Everyone was pushing it to the limit. There were some choppers balled up by pushing just a touch too low. I wish that I could be there tomorrow to see the finals. But, someone has to man the ambulance.
To all competitors great job by all. For those that didn't make the finals, you were pushing it to the limit and giving it your all. Thanks for the show!!!

Difference between knowns and unknowns are this............. There are 3 SET KNOWN manuevers ( KE sequence, diamond loop seq, and a snapping seq.) that the judges MUST see during the known round. The unknown is like flying a freestyle at a local IMAC contest. But XFC is where it all hangs out!!! Yes, it is ALL freestyle!!! Check out the VIDS!!!!
I for one, am estatic to see Gernot climb up to 4th!!! That kid can fly the Shiznizzle out of an airplane!!! HE really deserved to win that round!!! Good job!!!! Get the kid some FG swag!!! Max is just a baddass!!!! It really SUX that he couldn't broadcast from there!!! I heard from him that his connection was better than he has ever had....... Talking TV quality stuff!!! Chris~
