Big ups to the whole FG crew.... Max- Really enjoyed getting a moment to chat at the loudmouths errrrrrrrrrrrrrr...I mean announcers tent. I owe you a sandwich bro! Bob- Always a pleasure. If you come out this way to shoot Bambi with Don.....let me know..we will hook up after the hunt and kill some cold ones! The team of Biff, "E" and DJ Mix Master Pop-Diddy was one of the greatest combos of model aviation history! Wizard- Great photos!!! Great Weekend...stoked to see you all there. Best contest vibe of the year. I really dug the "x-games" like scene going down with the pickle cutters...those heli guys were cheering and rooting eachother on until the last horn sounded...right on! George Rodriguez |

Thanks George! As aiways it was great seeing you. You guys rocked it in the tent and worked your rears off. I'm planning on a hunt with Mr. Don this fall. We'll do the yucky part and you can meet us for steaks! Hat's off to all you guys for hosting such a fun event. Great job!! Hobbico, Great Planes and Futaba done yourselves proud!

The XFC was the first big outdoor event I have ever been to. Although we did work our tails off, it didn't seem like work. What a positive atmosphere it was with all of the great people, great pilots, and great spectators who all made this a huge success.
Bob - Major Kudos to you for running your yap all day long. You are the best in the biz. Unlike George, I will kill Bambi. Do talk to Mr. Don and get something rolling. Max - Too bad our little plan to get the live feed going didn't go through. What is best for the industry and audience isn't always thought of by everyone. Next year will be a different story though. You guys always rock the live coverage better than anyone. You will get that sandwich! Looking forward to seeing you both in Ohio again soon. Nick |

The Huckfest is next, hope to see some of you at that one, I'll be there with planes and camping gear, oh yeah, possibly a beverage or 2, of course, after the planes are away for the night. |

George, Thanks for the comment on the photos. The hardest part was going through and deciding which ones not to post. If Max had not had his laptop there I would no have had enough memory for the camera. I filled a 1 gig card in the first 2 hours I was there. I hope everyone enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Just so you know, today I had a hankerin' for a deli sandwich and thought of how you guys jacked me on the vittles  at the XFC. JK!! Aside from leaving a 220lb webmaster in hunger, you guys did a bang up job on the entire event, and you're both class acts all the way around! From an excitement perspective and energy level, the XFC is definately is one of the best events on the circuit. Congrats on the success & I'll see you guys soon. Thanks again for everything, MD

hi guys, well xfc is over, but it was absolutely great!!!! i had a lot of fun and was very happy, great pilots, great flying, great weather, great everything, and also new friends, I want to say hi and thanks to : Mark Trent, Jason Danhakl, Manuel Santos, Mad Max, Bob, you guys rock!!!!
  you are great people!!!Also thanks to Mark from now on I will be "little bird"....  anyway, it was a great event, it was great meeting you guys, I hope I will see you there next year!Congratulations everyone, pilots and staff!!! |
