Default Art Scholl Videos?

A co worker and myself were talking about Art and his Chipmunk.... Does anybody have any video of his spectacular SC airplane? Thanks.

I wish.... he died a long time ago though....

I did this little Chippy in his honor a couple of years ago... Throttled Cox .010 power, Ailerons, Ele, and Rud... Even has a detailed instrument panel...

The website dedicated to him is no longer up, but I found this...

http://www.artschollaviation.com/asa/index.php

Listed on the Art Scholl page are the films he did work on....

I was watching the Art Scholl video - and of course I began thinking about a 150CC sized Chipmunk with retracts... I know I'm sick but I couldn't help it - wouldn't it be cool though?

You are absolutely right! I myself wish their was some type of interest in" aircraft from the past class " in an IMAC type competition. It would be great to see Stearmans, Wacos, Pitts, Cubs, Taylorcrafts etc... in an IMAC type event/class. You are correct, Art allways took the time to sign an autograph and answer a kids questions. I watched him every year fly at the Reading Air Show back in the 70s. He worked that Chipmonk!!!.....Gene

How about sliding canopy open and step out on the wing with one foot while doing slow low pass.

He had 2. One is in the National Air and Space museum, the other is in the EAA museum. I remember seeing him fly bith the Chipmunk and his Pitts. A few years ago I restored Margrette Ritchie's old Clip wing T-Craft. Art Scholl had flown it some because his signature is in the log book. Tom

The dog's name was "Aileron."

Tom, Is the Super with retracts at Udvar-Hazy? I went to Osh Kosh this year and don't remember seeing the retracts on that plane.
I've been meaning to blow this pic up and frame it....

Back in the 1970's Art Scholl flew with Skip Volk in matching Chipmunks. They were both fixed gear with wheel pants. The paint schemes were not identical, if I recall correctly, Art had piano key stripes and Skip had sunburst stripes. I will have to go through my old print photos and scan them in.
