I Know there have been alot of people wanting more info on this plane. I just recieved this last week and had to put it togather to make sure it fits in my van. If not, need to convince the wife it's time to trade it in for a grand caravan !!! The quality on this plane is typical Aviation models. I cannot find one thing I do not like about the plane. The covering is perfect, build quality is A++. I love the fact that it has a split Cowl and is some of the best glass work and paint i have seen . The color match is perfect. just to give you an idea on the size the opening on the front of the cowl is just under 12" !!! I will be putting a DA-150 in this for power. Servos will be 8611a's 13 of them all togather for the controll surfaces. Looking to maiden this in May/June due to winter and work. Let me know if anyone wants to see more specific pictures of anything

Cool Plane Bryan, I'd like to get one of those as well. Keep us informed man!! Maybe if you have the time you could do a build thread.

I was thinking of doing a build thread but I am getting into my busy season at work now through end of may. So I don't think I would have the time to do it right. Still not out of the question though.

Bryan,
Check out BOB from lite pilots. I've got one for my 35% Aviation Models Yak and I think although they are a little more expensive than others they are very light as well as very realistic. Hope you have a blast with the extra, I too hope to have one soon. |
