Default Seiko PS-050 servos

Would like to know feedback on using this in 40% and larger planes. I know it’s not a digital and should not expect that kind of performance.

However, for those who are flying them, what is the centering like on them? The plane I am thinking of putting one in will be mainly for 3D so I am not looking for perfection. Then again if I am constantly correcting it won’t be so cool either.

Im running one on pull pull in my H9 Ultimate. centering is off abit, maybe 1/4 of an inch at the rudder. not the best, but the power it has is great for knife edge loops. didnt hurt me a bit during my first basic contest with the Ultimate (1st place). so, it should be just fine for 3d. for now, it will work for basic and sportsman if need be. fwiw..

more than 50 flights on my h9 ulti tail - centering just fine and great power - using a TBM li ion for seiko at 11.4v - will use in all the big planes with the new airwild adjustable arm.
best value and never a glitch

I am using one in my 37.5% AM Yak and the centering is great and the power is even better. Not a disappointment.

Using one as well and have had no centering problems. Unbelieveable power for the rudder and very easy to install and set-up.

Have had my Super Extra on one since day one. Two years old and never a fault. I use a FROMECO Seiko driver pack at 10.8 so it charges to 12.8 or so.

Its a beast and in some really overpowered tumbles etc you can see that rudder just blast from side to side. Theres surely no lack of torque.

I would never build a 35% plus and not use them, but thats just me. If you are some super accurate IMAC gun then maybe theres a noticeable difference.

My big ol PITTS S12 has one as well and again same results.

Centering I never really notice and thats due more than likely to my flying skills. If it aint centering everytime then I never have noticed it in flight.

Rudders self-center anyway, and the over-center on return helps damp out oscillations. . . right??

i've used one before and have it on the shelf. A good servo .. tons of torque. . STUPID speed and power. . utterly simple installation. I'll be using it in my rebuilt DR-109 on rudder with straight 3-cell Li-Ion for power, though 2-cell is all you need.

I mounted one on my 37.5% YAK, I made the mistake of standing right behind the rudder while I was setting trim zero in radio. I accidentallly flicked the rudder stick and smacked myself in the face. I can defintely say this thing is a fricken weapon!!!!!!
