It works for any 3 and 4 digit number.

All the problem is is a fancy way of saying like..... 10 plus 100 plus 90 minus 20 devided by 18 equals 10, try it, You can make up whatever numbers in the fromula you want and you can come up with whatever answere you want.

There isnt some sort of fancy mathmatical relationship between each 3 and 4 digit number.

This is easy. Let the first 3 numbers = x, and the last 4 = y.

Step 1: (((250(80x+1))+2y)-250
2

Step 2: 20,000x + 2y (the 250*1 and -250 cancel)
2

Step 3: 10,000x + y

So all you are doing is multiplying the first 3 numbers by 10,000 and adding the last 4.

(that 2 i ment to be under the line, but the spaces keep being removed)

Isn't math fun. It is amazing how simple some things are when you break them down.

It will work with any 7 numbers....you must not be putting the numbers in right. Try it again and with each step, put all the requires numbers down, then hit the botton (multiply, add, subtract, etc)
