Kiwi, Try sammy on this number 1-253-332-0786 the other number has not been working for some time. Also Sammy is leaving for China on the 10th and will be back Feb 10th. His shipping rate has been better than chiefs. He just sent me a 42% extra and profile yak for around 200.00 in shipping. Let me know if you have any problems with that number.

Compared to that, $120 shipping for C-A Yak 2.6m seems like a barbain
It also seems smart for World Models to package there 36% katana in 3 boxes ( wings, fuse, cowl ) as the total UPS shipping was only $75 to NJ. It is just too bad the canopy on the katana looks so crappy that seeing it makes you lose interest to complete it. |

One thing is for sure. Nobody crates a plane like aviation models. Everything is bubble wrapped then bagged in plastic, Then packed in a cradboard box and then put into a crate to ensure a damage free shipment. Cost more to ship but no BS with damaged product.

Chief said that the are looking into using Forward Air,but the closet one to them is in Portland 3 hrs away. That would be alot cheaper to ship than by truck.
