Kris bring on the war bird mate. I would love to see it, just as long as you dont do it over here and whipp me, that would be too hard to live down. If the plane has competed in IAC then it is legal, case closed. Until there is a rule change that bans warbirds from flying I say let em come, the more the merrier. We all no we would hardly ever see it so I dont see the harm. As most of the Aussie IMAC guys would know im fairly harsh on the rules and I dont see a problem with it. Least It would be a good talking point at a comp and who knows we might actually learn something. I think we have more of an issue with some of the planes flying in comps today that are meant to be scale aerobatic planes but are starting to look more and more like giant pattern planes.

that's very accurate. It's becoming rediculous. Does anyone know if the CompARF Yak55sp is even legal for IMAC? IMO, it's way beyond the 10% rule.

50% I would say the Comp arf Yak 55sp would definately be legal, its a fairly good standoff scale of a Yak55SP-M

And if you look at Mark Trents yaks he even adds the canopy lines. Thats whats really missing from the comp-arf model. Its the edge 540 esque canopy that makes it look a little odd.

50% I am afraid twin engine aircraft are not allowed to compete in IMAC if you read rule 4.1

I would love to see a P47N try and stay inside a 'box' that is 3300ft square!

ok, I'm sorry, I had never seen the spm. I was only familiar with the Yak 55. Here's the pics of what I was thinking the CompARF was a model of.

Ok, I think this one has finally run it's course. Things have gotten a little personal and I think the point has been made. If we let this one keep going it'll just be an example of beating a dead horse.
