Default Difference in power pitts and normal ?

Hi guys, what would the increase in power be between a pitts and a normal exaust on an mvvs 26? what about on one of the big pipes?
Or is there any way to increase the power but still using the pitts exaust?

Many thanks
Martin

Default Re: Difference in power pitts and normal ?

The horsepower differences in using various exhaust systems can run as high as 50% easily.
This is not the rpm differences - it is the HP.
most power is with factory or similar pipe and 18x6 prop which easily runs in very high 8000 rpm range.
the Pitts type will be less
always
power will be higher with NO exhaust system than a Pitts type.
expect to be 25% less in HP with the Pitts types,
any of them
