Most of the airframes also have room for canisters or possilbly pipes. Only down side it you need to buy all the hardware to put it together. I am still building mine at the moment and it is a good quality arf and should fly great when finished. Just something for you to think about.
Matt has pointed me in the direction of Tates hobbies here in Victoria. I havnt rang them yet but expecting around the $800 for the Giles.

Your right about the hardware! Why do they do that, it sucks. You get slapped on the face with and extra $150 for nuts n bolts.

Not exactly sure why they don't include hardware. Maybe so you can chose exactly what you want. The giles will fly very well on the 3w80. They is a guy at werrington that flies one with a 3w75. It flies well even though it is over weight with on board video camera, smoke system and a bucket load of 3300mAh Nicd packs.

That 3w80 works great in the WH Extra 260. Plenty of power for that plane. To bad you have no way to haul it. My uncle's flies absolutely beautiful. You can't go wrong with Wildhare's planes. They are top notch ARF's. You'll like the Giles for IMAC type of flying, but is a little tougher for 3D, but still really good. I have a 40% Carden Giles 202, very stable and likes to tumble. Good luck.

I do prefer the Extra 260. To buy a new car or trailer though.... that starts to get a bit expensive.

I went for the trailer option. I have a 7x4 with a removable cover on it. This keeps the trailer dual purpose and the costs down a little. It really depends on whether or not you will want even bigger models later on. I can't see myself getting anything much bigger than a 2.3m compy. So I went for something that will fit that into it.

Yeah Hangar 9 kits are good but from what I have heard spare parts are hard to get cheap here. Horizon hobbies wont ship to australia so all the spares come there model flight and they aint cheap.

Yeah go with the Wild Hare. That would be a much better choice than the World Models Planes.
