New shots.
Walt sent me this on how he sets the tube's.

here's how to set the wing and stab perfectly parallel. I set the wing tube on 2 standoffs exactly the same height. Level the tube to 0. Set the stab tube on 2 dowels. Level the stab tube to 0. Put the plane with the wing tube and stab tube in there holes and set the plane back on the standoffs and dowels. Egual the tubes distance side to side from fuse. Measure the distance from tube end to tube end on both sides. This one is 60-5/8ths on each side.

I don't think you're going to like that thing Wayne. Send it this way when it's finished and I'll take it off your hands.

Wayne,

Have you ever flown a plane with that section of the phenolic wing tube removed.....or know anyone that has and really ran it through the "ringer"?

Any issues??

Yea, that seems like it would make it weak. but i guess the wing tube would give it strength.

P.S. Walt is doing a hell of a job man.....it looks great.

Can't really see the middle section absorbing any real stresses during flight, plus the small sections each have a double joint/reinforcement. The inner tube isn't moving or putting any stress on the center of the phenolic tube just the edges. I think it would have to be one hell of a move to break those guys out.

Just my thoughts.
