Would rather have a 85in Yak, QQ, BME Aeroworks or the like with a DA 50 or 3W 50, but the H9-260 and Moki 210 will cost me the same as the QQ 85in yak, before adding a motor.
So the 260 and 210 looks like a good compromise for the mean time.
( Would rather have a 40% with DA 150 but who says you cant dream?)

Although I did sell it after 9 or 10 flights to get an Aeroworks QB yak the H9 E-260 is a great flying airplane. just get rid of the stock C/F L/G and put the C/F L/G from Troy Built Models. and stick moki 2.10 on it and fly it like you stole it. as far as dead stick landings I had a few while the engine was breaking in and it was an easy glide to a 3 pointer.

I had that 260 extra (hangar 9 ) in my garage. The power plant is the Evolution engines 45 gaser.
It will hawe the smoke tank and i am intrested is there something what i shud inspect or rebilt?

Servos it will be jr 8411 in all surfases and sulliwan sky writer is the smoke pump.
Reseaver is Jr 9ch Spcm
It will have 2 battrys for reseaver and one for the smoke pump and one fore the ignition.

I whud like to fly hard 3D whit the plane now i had the showtime whith the Os 120 surpass engine.

Hi,
I just maidened mine this morning, and it flew awesome with a DA50. Very stable in Harrier's and would hover awesome, also very stable and landed easy. I had heard on the web that the DA 50 was to heavy for this airplane and that it needed glow, IMHO it couldn't be farther from the truth....This is a great 50cc that fits in a sedan with the seat down. Allot easier to get to the field than my 30-35% aircraft where I unload the kids stuff out of the mini-van!

I have about 60 flights on my h9 260 with a Moki 2.1 on a Cline pump. It flys awesome because it is at least a 1.2 lbs lighter than one with a DA-50. I Firmly believe a DA-50 is not a good choice for this plane. A DA-50 will easily pull around a bigger heavier 30% so why would you want to go smaller?

I had a Moki on hand before I got the plane so it was a good choice. Knowing what I know now I would not put a DA 50 on this plane. A guy at a club I belong to built one with a DA and smoke but I have not flown it yet. Unfortunately he used small (cheap) servos on the tail and is having problems.

The problems experienced on this plane are relatively minor. I replaced the linkage bolts right off the bat for $0.90. The gear delaminated but Horizon sent me aluminum free of charge. I put the tank on the cg and shimmed the stab halves with silicone. I have high end digi servos so no rudder problems. I love this plane and it flies great.

I just got mine a month ago, and I have to say its beautiful, and Im using a DA 50, after a lot of afternoons reading forums and reading specs of the engines and airplanes, I think that the DA 50 is a good engine for the plane, Im just going to be careful about the weight, I alredady love this plane, and I havenīt flown it yet....
