Funny tho, the Mith and I burned a little over 2 gals each the following weekend there at Rabbit Dry Lake and another 2 gals this past weekend at our home field in some of the best WX ever for this time of the year! But its getting ready to turn Butt cold again up here with snow levels dropping to 2500 tomorrow night.

When it gets nice again we'll have to all hook up and try again with our planes either at that same field or Rabbit,,,

Bill
Just let me know when. You guys have a lot more space to fly in than I do.

Hey all thanks for the bolt input! I have my drill press ready for the next bird for sure. Dave, A little off the thread here but I was wondering how do you like your GP-176 engine? I have a Comp-Arf 3 meter Yak-55m That needs a motor up front with some of your cans. How would you compare it to your DA-170? Thanks, Steve Mullis

Hi Steve, As you all know already from the last million posts on this thread I do not ever mention other brands or post number compairisons here. But I can and will say this, I have never had a better running large class (150-200cc) engine. It produces alot more power than what I have used in the past. How much more? Give me a call.
Also the GP-176EVO is glass smooth right out of the box. With ton's of these motors already out in the field running and me being the service center I feel like the Maytag repair man, I have yet to fix one. LOL
All I can say Steve is Try one, You will be happy you did.

Thanks Josh, I knew you would love the 176EVO/Pro Flow Combo.

Hey Dave, have you gotten to fly/test the 61 yet? I am hearing that the power from the 176 is a good deal more than a 170cc. Is the 61 going to be proportionately more powerful, than say a 60 or 55?

Hi Chuck, No I have not tested the 61/123 engines yet. I was just told that my 123 should be here in about a week. I plan to install it in the new EF-104 Extra along with my new Pro Flow Smooth pipes and take it to the Nall. The power will be awesome and testing numbers are very good. One thing I really like about the 88/176EVO engines is along with alot more power they are so darn smooth running. We have been out flying 2 test planes with our new pipes, One has a DA-60 and the other has a DA-50. Both picked up a ton of power and the transition is very linear and smooth. Hopefully I will have some pipes at the Joe Nall event in my booth on the 3D flightline.

Oh Yeahhhh. Here is a sneak peek. This one is behind a DA-50 in an Extreme Flight Edge using 1 of our Trick mounts, I recomend 2 mounts per pipe but this was just a test run.. Ran awesome!!!

Note the Stinger turn down sitting on the bench. These are sold seperatly and come in 45 or 90 deg.

Ooohhhhhhh! SHINY!!!
That is a very interesting looking pipe. The angles and tapers look different than most pipes appear.
Hopefully the tests go/are going well
