Default Safety Alert for Aviation Models 37.5% Yak

Just thought to past this along.
http://www.toc1.com/Warranty/37Yak_wing_failure.html

<FONT size=2>Aviation Models regretfully request that all owner’s of our 37.5% Yaks ground Them immediately. We have received our third report of a mid-air wing failure. Though this represents a very small percentage of the 37.5% Yaks flown every weekend, for safety reasons, we are asking all owners to ground them. After the first report of a failure, I traveled to the factory in China. Sammy, I, and the production team did a thorough investigation. At that time, we made a design change, and began to “beef” up all new wings. After the second failure, we started a production run of new wings in case the problem really was caused by a design flaw, and not just a fluke. Now, after the third reliable report, we think it best to ground them all.

Garrett had posted this here a couple weeks back. But thanks for the heads up! New wings are on their way for everyone, including all of the custom schemes that were done.

Picked up my new wings on Tuesday! I'll get it back in the air by this weekend. The wings came inside a cardboard box that was inside a wooden crate. No damage what so ever and they fit perfectly.
Thanks to Sammy and the rest of the AM gang for stepping up and taking care of all of us 37.5% Yak owners!
