Eclipse?
I have been told that this is a Henry Piorun design (an Eclipse). Just posting it here in case he sees this thread. Looking for confirmation and comments.

Hi David
It is for sure, I biult the first one in the winter of '85 and flew that design for a couple of years at least. Hard to believe there are any still around! Thanks for posting it, brings back all kinds of memorys! |

Henry, the seller said in all his years of flying nothing flew better than this plane. I know he was trying to sell it but he could not stop talking about how well it flew. I have a growing collection of classic pattern planes, this is just another one.

My pattern interests are only the classic pattern planes. Retracts, tuned pipe and I am happy. The modern designs are of only a moderate interest.
