Well boys and girls it is that time of year again. Time for the 4th annual Cajun R/C IMAC, and perhaps most important, the first IMAC event of the season in the SC Region. If you've been to the event before, you can stop reading now. I'll see you in a couple of weeks.
If you haven't been before, then shame on you. Just ask anyone who has attended any previous event and ask them what their favorite part was. It might have been the Friday night burgers & fettucini, Saturday jambalaya, or Saturday night boiled crawfish. Maybe it was the warm weather, nice wide open flying field, cane knife trophies, or maybe the dancing girls (oh wait...). Anyway, if you attend I promise a good time, good friends, and good flying. We already have several signed up and I know of several more that have not pre-registered. Please pre-register so we can get everyone entered into the scoring program before the event. If you do not pre-register you will be put at the top of the flight order, I promise. I would expect our standard 25-35 pilot count pretty evenly split over all classes. We will not have a freestyle event because 1) no one has signed up for it to date and 2) we do not have any utilities at the field to run any audio equipment. If you really want to fly freestyle, then we can open the line up on Saturday afternoon and someone can sing for you. If any of you need to get in touch with me or have any questions, feel free to PM me. So mark your calendar for April 16th & 17th, and pre-register. Be there or be square. See more discussion and info here: http://www.mini-iac.com/Forums/tabid...c/Default.aspx Ryan Gonsoulin P.S. If you have a DLG, bring it!

Looking forward to this. It will be my first IMAC competition! Just look for the guy trying to draw straight lines in sky..."that looks good right...!"

The entrance to the field is at 30.000054, -91.737128. More general info can be found here: www.cajunrcclub.com. Camping is allowed at the field. No hook-ups (or any utilities for that matter). Just get with me when you arrive so we can put you on solid ground. Passport optional! Ryan

Come on guys. Pre-registered, please. I know of at least a dozen who are planning on attending and have not signed up.
Thanks, Ryan

OK guys, were getting close. The crawfish for Saturday night have been reserved and the weather is looking promising (Murry).
I'm trying to get a head count on how many will attend the burger & fettucini meal at my house on Friday night. Drop me a line if you plan to attend. BYOB. We are looking forward to a great weekend of flying. Ryan
